Naxos Beaches

Beaches in Naxos are different than the beaches in other islands of the Cyclades due to their characteristic length. In fact, Plaka is the longest beach, located on the western side of the island, where visitors can also find other Naxos beaches with soft sand, crystal turquoise waters and a beautiful view over the neighboring island of Paros.

Very nice Naxos beaches are also Agios Prokopios, Agia Anna, Orkos and Mikri Vigla, which is very popular among windsurfers and kitesurfers. The western side of the island with these beautiful places is the most developed in tourism. The eastern side is secluded with wild bays and affected by the wind. You will find below a list with the best beaches in Naxos island.
