About Naxos hotels
Naxos has been known for years as a family destination but has recently opened up to more and different types of travellers: from honeymooners and Luxury hotel holidaymakers, to young party tourists and kitesurfers. This change has also affected the Naxian hotels' options offered. It is safe to say that there is a hotel for every taste and budget. The majority of Naxos hotels & accommodation are small family-run businesses. Most of the constructions are in a very good condition (small renovation works occur frequently), well equipped, with air conditions, hot water, and a kitchen whereas most of them have a good location and a small balcony with a view. When it comes to design, there is a huge variety in terms of style. The range begins from a basic room to let with indifferent decoration (sometimes a bit oldy) and can reach up to a highly aesthetic award-winning architectural oeuvre.
Of course, the prices vary accordingly. At this point, you should note that most of the accommodation operating on the island bear the sign of the Greek National Tourism Organization which means that they comply with all the official rules governing Accommodation in Greece. Like in any other touristic destination in the world, bad surprises might happen but it is not very often the case here, especially if you have done your research and selected information from trustworthy sites that advertise hotels that have been checked by them first. A bit more attention is needed though when deciding on the location of the hotel since Naxos is a relatively big island.
