Kalymnos, known as the island of sponge divers, provides some unique attractions to visitors. It is blessed with green valleys and forests which cover most of the beaches. It is worth exploring the island on foot and follows its natural trails. Tourism in Kalymnos is particularly enjoyable for families and nature lovers. There is no tourist office in Kalymnos, therefore visitors can collect all their information from the travel agencies at the port. However, in all the central spots of the island, there is tourist police providing assistance to the tourists.
