In brief, the island offers a municipal bus service that connects Pothia, Kalymnos' capital, with most major villages. It is an excellent and budget-friendly way to move around the island!
However, most people move around by car.

There are enough itineraries between Pothia and the main villages and seaside settlements of Kalymnos. Namely, Myrties, Massouri, Kantouni, and Kamari can be reached multiple times per day by bus!
Other destinations include Emporio, Vathy, and Argos. Plus, the airport is connected to Pothia throughout the summertime.

Buses in Kalymnos are available throughout the year, with routes becoming much more frequent from May to October to provide a reliable means of transportation to the island's guests and residents.
