The island is only accessible by ferry. There are ferries to Folegandros from Piraeus port in Athens but also from other islands of the Aegean sea. The closest airport to Folegandros is on Santorini island.

Chora is the main and most beautiful village in Folegandros. Do not miss a walk in Kastro, the oldest quarter of Chora with combined Medieval and traditional style.
Agali is the most beautiful beach in Folegandros, with exotic waters and relaxing atmosphere. The other beaches on the island are also secluded and can be accessed by bus or boat.
The lovely church of Panagia stands on top of a hill above Chora, offering a great view to the sea and the island. This traditional church is reached in 10 minutes walk from Chora, following a paved path. In the yard of the church, there are the remains of an ancient temple.
