Sikinos Greece is a secluded island of the Cyclades island group, located between Folegandros and Ios. Its position, close to some of the most beautiful islands of the Cyclades makes Sikinos a great destination for quick getaways and island hopping. At Sikinos port you’ll find the most popular organized beach of the island, while the rest of Sikinos beaches are rather secluded and can be reached either by foot or by bus. Apart from Port beach, some of the best Sikinos beaches worth visiting are Agios Georgios and Dialiskari.

The island is only accessible by ferry. There are ferries to Sikinos from Piraeus port in Athens but also from other islands of the Aegean sea. The closest airport to Sikinos is on Santorini island (International airport).

  • Chora
    Chora is the main village on the island, constructed on the slopes of a hill. It has traditional Cycladic style and few tourist accommodations.
  • Episkopi Monastery
    The monument in Episkopi was originally a Roman tomb constructed on the spot of an ancient temple. Later on, a Byzantine church was built on top of the tomb.
  • Dialiskari beach
    The beach of Dialiskari is secluded and pebbled. The region has limited tourist facilities, which means only few studios and a couple of taverns. The beach is not organized.
  • Port beach
    The port beach is the only organized beach in Sikinos. Nice studios and apartments are found in a walking distance from this sandy coast.
