Poros Town is the centre of activities for the island. With picturesque architecture and nice views to the sea, this is a wonderful place to stroll around.
Love Bay is the most beautiful beach in Poros. This is actually a small cove with blue green waters and surrounded by lush greenery. It is accessed by bus from the town.
Very few remain today from the ancient temple of Poseidon, which stands in the center of the island. This temple was of great importance in the ancient times as it was the center of an amphictyony, that is a league of local powerful city-states.
The renowned lemon forest of Greece is situated opposite the port of Poros on the shores of the Peloponnese and is the only one in Greece.
This monastery is located on a hill above Askeli beach. It is surrounded by pine trees and has historical importance for the island. This is the last bus stop from Poros Town to Monastiri.
