General information

Lionas in Naxos is a small seaside settlement that served as the port of Koronos moutain village. It was used as a port to export emery (smirida) as many mines lie in the area. The settlement displays dramatic beauty since surrounded by cliffs.

The village boasts a pebbled beach at its center, which features refreshing, azure, and crystal-clear waters. The beach is a great swimming destination for those who hanker after tranquility away from the crowds.

The area offers a few accommodation options (mainly rooms to let) and some lovely little restaurants.
