Taxis
Though an expensive option when compared to buses, taxis are an easier and faster way to reach your destination at any time of the day. Renting a car or other vehicle is the most convenient way to move around Lassithi and explore its cultural and natural beauties without having to rely on buses or taxis. A number of car rental agencies can be found near the port.

Note: Numerous hotel complexes also offer shuttle service to and from the port. To arrange a port transfer (if available), you need to contact your accommodation prior to your arrival. Most of the time, transfers are offered at an additional charge, but, in some cases, they might be available for free.

Facilities

The port is within easy walking distance from the city center of Sitia, where you can find all the necessary tourist facilities, including restaurants, cafes, accommodation options, as well as car and boat rental services. Around the port, you will also find all the central agencies of the ferry companies, where you can get your pre-booked tickets if your company does not propose e-tickets, or buy them on-site.
