Kiliomenos Zakynthos: Located at a distance of 16 km from Zakynthos Town, Kiliomenos is a rural mountain village with some houses dating back to the 16th century. Located at a high altitude, it can be easily reached by car. Heading north towards the village of Volimes, beyond Lithakia, you will enter a very narrow street which will lead you left at the bell tower further north towards Agios Leon and Kampi.

The area around Kiliomenos is rich in vegetation, full of pine and cypress trees and numerous varieties of colorful flowers, making it an ideal spot for walking. Unfortunately in 2012 there were some major bushfires in the area which have destroyed part of the attractive environment.

In this village there is also the Women's Agricultural Cooperative Melissiotises. Thy run their own shop and offer local agricultural products to the tourists passing by. Highly recommended are the traditional olive oil, few local wines, the delicious honey, a variety of cheese, and much more.
