One of the best beaches in Greece, Golden Beach has soft sandy shore and amazing waters. This beach is organized with beach cafeterias, restaurants and nice studios.
Paradise is a wonderful beach, with soft golden sand and crystal waters. This is a fabulous place for a family day at the beach and has many tourist facilities.
On the hill above Limenas, there is the Ancient Agora of Thassos with remains from ancient temples and buildings and also with a wonderful ancient theatre.
On the southern side of Thassos, there is the picturesque village of Theologos. This is a place with traditional style and surrounded by natural beauty.
Alyki beach is located on the southern side of the island. This is a nice family place with blue green waters, due to the green nature that surrounds it. It gets very popular in summer.
The Monastery of Archangel Michael is located on the hill slopes with panoramic view to the Aegean Sea. Dating from the 18th century, this monastery has traditional style.
An interesting folklore museum is housed in a restored stone mansion in the village of Theologos. This museum hosts many folk exhibits and furniture.
Due to its lush greenery, Thassos is a wonderful island for hiking. In fact, many hiking paths cross Mount Ipsarion, the largest mountain on the island.
