Mets is a beautiful neighborhood in Athens, located behind Kallimarmaro Stadium. It has taken its name from the brasserie that Charles Fix, the son of Yohan Fix, owner of the homonymous Greek brewery, had opened in 1872, named Mets. Mets was the town where the last battle between the French and the Germans took place in 1871.
