As Arachova is the most popular winter destination, many cultural events and exhibitions are organized in winter time so that they are accessible to many people.
Religious feasts & festivals
April 23rd
The feast of Agios Georgios, on April 23rd (or the first Monday after Easter if April 23rd is on Holy Week), is the largest religious celebration in Arachova. The celebration lasts for three days and it is called panigiraki. After the morning service in the church of Agios Georgios in Arachova, there are horse racings and an open panigiri with food, wine, and traditional dancing.
Cultural events
Many painting and photo exhibitions are frequently organized in the Cultural Centre of Arachova, as well as lectures and theatre performances.
