Location: Town

An impressive building, the Tombazis Mansion in Hydra is a four-floored structure that was once the residence of Manolis Tombazis, an admiral of the naval forces in the War of Independence! Constructed in 1800 by Tombazis and his wife, Xanthi Sachini, its bold architecture features lots of evident Italian influences, including its well-preserved living room with its limestone flooring!

Since 1936, this gorgeous mansion has been operating as a part of the Athens School of Fine Arts, both as a space for showcases and exhibitions, as well as a dorm for students and artists!
