General information

Mandraki Beach is the sole coast on the island of Hydra with a sandy shore, though it does have some pebbles where the wave breaks! This coast features clear waters and lots of small fish, making it a solid option for swimming and snorkeling lovers!

The beach of Mandraki is well-organized since the seashore is filled with sunbed pairs and sun umbrellas, as well as a beach bar restaurant, all of which are owned by the nearby Mandraki Beach Resort.

Mandraki Beach offers WC booths, changing rooms, and rinse showers to its visitors.
It can be visited on foot or by hopping onto the dedicated water taxi that takes you to Mandraki Beach from the port of Hydra (at a cost)!

Very expensive and...

Comfortable sunbeds with towels, but very expensive( 30e per 1 bed!). The only place in Greece with dirty sea, a lot of small boats and yachts parket just in front of your view in the sea.... noone even cares to move them... you can swim in a shallow water just around 5 meters, and then there is a huge concrete kind of island...so for such an expensive resort and beach it is just unacceptable.

Lovely waters and nice location but...

Lovely waters and nice location but I sadly found it dirty which is a shame. Try this beach if you already tried some others.
