Kythira Waterfalls

Location: Mylopotamos

Following the same path that leads to the now ruined watermills of Mylopotamos village, you will get to see the 20-meter high Waterfall of Neraida or Fonissa.

This place of outstanding natural beauty can be reached on foot and this is one of the prettiest hiking routes you are going to find on the island.

On the way to the waterfall, you are going to discover cobblestone paths and a stone-built bridge that you will have to cross.

With the sound of the waterfall to guide you, you will walk through dense nature that is full of wild trees and dragonflies.

Upon arriving at the waterfall, you will see a few ponds where you can swim, although keep in mind that the water is very cold.
