Kefalonia Assos

General information

Assos is a small picturesque village located between two bays. On one bay, there are steep cliffs, while on the other, visitors will find the beach of Assos reaching the buildings of the settlement. It is separated into two sections, a longer and a smaller one, and is covered in pebbles. It showcases magnificent turquoise waters that are ideal for families with children, as they are very shallow.

The larger part of the beach is organized with sunbeds and umbrellas to rent, and a few taverns are available on the coast. On the other side, there are no facilities, so it is usually less crowded. Assos can be reached by car, and there is a parking lot at the entrance of the village.
