Platis Gialos Village Sifnos: Platis Gialos is a beautiful coastal settlement and one of the most popular resorts in the island of Sifnos. It is located about 9 km south of Apollonia town and has a long sandy beach with crystalline waters which attracts many visitors every year.

This seafront village is located in the southern tip of the island. It is the most crowded resort of Sifnos during summer and offers many luxury hotels, some rooms to rent, snack bars, bars, clubs, restaurants, a camping site and all the necessary touristy facilities. Some nice pottery workshops can also be found in Platis Yialos. The area is surrounded by olive trees and flower yards.
