In brief, Santorini boasts an international airport, receiving direct flights from Athens and Thessaloniki, but also from more than 20 countries.
The flights to Santorini from Athens are available daily throughout the year; however, the rest of the flights are seasonal (from April to October).
Notes: • There are no direct flights to Santorini from the United States, Canada, Australia & Asia.
• There are no flight connections between the islands and the only direct option is to travel to Santorini by ferry.

It is possible to fly between Santorini and any other Greek airport with one transit stop at Athens International Airport.

Alternatively, you may fly to one of the nearest airports and, from there, get to Santorini by ferry.
The best options are Athens and Mykonos:
• Athens to Santorini: Fly to Athens International Airport and then reach Santorini via a conventional or high-speed ferry from Rafina Port (near the airport) or Piraeus Port.
• Mykonos to Santorini: Fly either directly or indirectly to the International Airport of Mykonos and board a ferry at the New Port of Tourlos in order to get to Santorini.

The international airport of Santorini (Thira) JTR is located 8 km from Fira, the island's capital, in the region of Monolithos.

The capital city of Greece operates flights to the National Airport of Santorini on a daily basis at any time of the year, with fewer flight connections being available during the winter months.
The trip duration is approximately 40-50 minutes. There are multiple flights per day during the high season.

• Flights from Thessaloniki Airport

The flight connections between Thessaloniki and Santorini are available seasonally, from April to October.
They are usually scheduled between 1 and 8 times a week, with more flights being available during the summer.
The travel time is around 40-60 minutes.
