Book your transfer from/to the airport of Santorini
The International Airport of Santorini is located in the region of Monolithos/Kamari, 6 km from the capital of Fira and 17 km from Oia. The airport is served by domestic flights from Athens and Thessaloniki but also direct flights from European countries such as UK, Germany, France and more.
The airport of Santorini island is located 6 km from the main ferry port (Athinios) that serves ferries to many Greek islands (Mykonos, Paros, Naxos and more).
Note that visitors can reach the island of Santorini by ferry from Athens. There are many ferries to Santorini from Piraeus port.

In all cases, taxis are waiting outside the terminal. Visitors will need to join a waiting queue. Note that taxis can carry a maximum of four persons. The arrival area is often packed with travelers waiting for a taxi, therefore, we recommend a pre-booked service.

The bus station of the airport is located between the buildings of the arrivals and departures. It takes visitors to the main bus station in Fira village, 5 km away. There is a bus approx. every one hour. Fira is where the central bus station of the island is located and it is connected to most areas of the island: Oia, Fira, Kamari, Perissa, etc. Check the official bus timetables here.
Tip: If you decide to use public transfers, the bus doesn’t always make a stop everywhere unless you tell the driver to stop. So, if you don’t know where your bus stop is, inform the driver where you’re heading to, so he can make a stop at your destination.

Currency exchange: The is one office at the airport offering currency exchange, at the arrival gate.

WiFi: The airport offers internet access for free. You just need to select the network "Fraport-Free" on your mobile device and launch your browser.
The International Airport of Santorini is connected to many airports of Europe. Many international companies fly to Santorini (in summertime), including popular low-cost air companies.
