Milos Thermal Springs of Alykes

The Thermal Springs of Alykes in Milos are located on the beach of the same name, near the Kanava area. These springs, as well as the numerous others that are scattered all over the island, were created centuries ago because of Milos’ volcanic activity. It is said that they are beneficial when it comes to gynecological diseases and infertility because of the minerals and metals that make up their consistency.

The springs are visible from the beach, and their spots can be detected from the bubbling water. Their temperature reaches up to 40°C but mixes with the cool seawater creating a comfortable warmth, perfect for staying in for a while. As the thermal springs are located in the sea close to the beach, they are accessible to everyone free of charge.
