Micra Anglia Boutique Hotel and Spa

Chora is the capital of Andros and unlike the aforementioned towns, it is located on the east coast of the island. This means that the distance from the port is a 50minutes drive or 32km. Nonetheless, it is one of the most beautiful towns in the Cyclades. It used to be a wealthy place with many "captains" living there. This is why you will find beautiful neoclassical mansions and impressive buildings.
There are many shops, a museum of modern art, fancy restaurants, and boutique hotels. There are two beaches near Chora: Paraporti beach and Nimboriou beach.

Andros is a beautiful island in the Cyclades. It is located just below Evia island and north of Tinos island. The ferry ride from Rafina port in Athens is just 2 hours.
The island has a very aristocratic character with many old mansions and neoclassical buildings. The beaches are also beautiful with clear emerald waters.

The hotels of Andros are scattered all around the island. The majority of them are found across its west coast which is the most touristically developed.
More specifically, you will find a plethora of hotels in Gavrio, which is the port of the island, as well as in Batsi, which is a quaint fishing village with many taverns and shops.
Agios Petros is also located between those two villages and offers a range of lodging options.
The town of Andros, also known as Chora, is located on the east side of the island. It is the center of life on the island with many shops, museums, restaurants, and cafes. A big number of boutique hotels and suites are also found here.

Hotels vary in type and facilities, therefore, visitors will find something to suit their preferences. The majority of them are family-run apartments, cozy rooms-to-let, and stylish suites. Nonetheless, there are also some luxury hotels that are bigger units with suites, swimming pools, and all the modern comforts. If you are looking for privacy, there are some villas in various locations.
