Chora is the capital of Andros and unlike the aforementioned towns, it is located on the east coast of the island. This means that the distance from the port is a 50minutes drive or 32km. This is why you will find beautiful neoclassical mansions and impressive buildings.
There are many shops, a museum of modern art, fancy restaurants, and boutique hotels. There are two beaches near Chora: Paraporti beach and Nimboriou beach.
