Ferry
Amorgos is only accessible by ferry. Note that the island has two ports - one in Katapola and one in Aegialis.
There is a regular ferry connection between Piraeus Port (Athens) and Amorgos, with one or two ferries heading to Katapola departing every day during the high season. Ferries to Aegialis, on the other hand, depart 4 times a week.
The trip lasts from 5.5 to 10 hours, depending on whether you are traveling by a conventional or a high-speed ferry.
The island is also connected with other Cycladic destinations, like Naxos, Santorini and Paros.
