Missiria Rethymno: Missiria beach is located on Crete Island, approximately 5 km east of Rethymno town, close to the National road leading to Heraklion.

Missiria is a long, exhilarating and serene sandy beach. It is well-organized, with sunbeds and umbrellas and sometimes it is affected by northern winds, the so-called meltemia. It is located close to the airport and a nice choice for swimming and sunbathing.
