General information

Votsalakia Beach in Athens: Votsalakia, meaning “small pebbles”, is a beach filled with small and large-sized rocks and coarse sand on the left side! Mostly used by nearby inhabitants, the shore of Votsalakia has a deep seabed, whereas its bathers will also spot the uninhabited, lushly-vegetated Koumoundourou islet (also known as Stalis)! On top of that, specially-made rails are providing easy water access to wheelchair users!

This shore is partly organized, featuring a line of sunbeds and umbrellas provided by a beachside bar, even though most of its length remains pristine. Votsalakia Beach is surprisingly easy to reach since it is located between the cosmopolitan Marina Zeas and Mikrolimano in Piraeus!
In addition, there are plenty of sports amenities nearby, such as fantastic tennis courts, beach volleyball courts, a soccer field, workout spots, and the city’s municipal open-air swimming pool!
