Voula Athens: For many years now, Voula remains one of the most popular beaches at the suburbs of Athens. It is found 18 km south of Athens in a lovely coastal location with increasing tourist development. The homonymous beach is a popular spot for the Athenians, especially for the people living in the area. What’s more, Voula beach (A’ Voula Plage) has been recently awarded with a Blue Flag for its clean waters and quality.

Voula beach is being reconstructed and renovated at the moment. The reconstruction plan that will soon be implemented, includes the organization of the beach with cafes, sunbeds and umbrellas. Additionally, at the soon to be renovated Voula beach, there will be sports facilities, such as a basketball court, a tennis court, a mini golf and a volleyball court. Also, the current camping area will be transformed into glamping (glamour camping), a project that combines traditional camping with luxurious facilities. Voula beach can be easily accessed by tram and bus from the center of Athens.
