Hydra Rafalias Pharmacy

One of the oldest pharmacies in all of Greece, Rafalias Pharmacy is a historic monument in the heart of Hydra Town! It showcases the island’s tradition in the field of medicine, as well as many architectural details from the late 19th century, given that little has changed since it first opened in 1890!

The pharmacy of the Rafalias family has wooden parquet floors and vintage furniture made out of sturdy Swedish pine wood! Also, its interiors boast vivid green colors, while it also houses a dedicated area that was used for medical examinations!

Nowadays, the pharmacy is operated by the grandson of its founder, Evangelos Rafalias, and his close family! Moreover, it sells unique perfumes, creams, soaps, and lotions based on chamomile, jasmine, and honeysuckle extracts, whereas all products are made using natural ingredients and with an added emphasis on environmental sustainability!

The pharmacy is open from 09:00 to 14:00 and from 17:00 to 21:00!
