Hydra Pavlos Koundouriotis Mansion

An old residence of the revered admiral Pavlos Koundouriotis spotted west of the Hydra Port, the Pavlos Koundouriotis Mansion is a unique sight containing plenty of important historical information! It was bought in 1991 by the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and Sports in order to showcase the history of the Koundouriotis family and the Byzantine and post-Byzantine eras of Hydra.

The mansion hosts three distinct floors housing large storage spaces, dining areas, impressive hallways, Pavlos Koundouriotis’ office, and his bedroom, along with multiple guest bedrooms! In addition, the building has beautiful beamed ceilings, floors covered with black-and-white marble, and a grandiose garden split into five levels!
