Aegina Monastery of Agia Anastasia Pharmakolytria

Within a short distance from Aegina Town (around 3 kilometers), in the area of Livadi, you can find the Monastery of Agia Anastasia Pharmakolytria, an important religious site for the people of Aegina. The nunnery has been in operation since 1955, and what makes it stand out is its amazing icons, which have been painted in the Russian style. It also houses holy relics of Saint Anastasia.
