Celebrating its 50th anniversary, the International Film Festival of Thessaloniki will take place this year from the 13th until 22nd of November.

A faith copy of the workshop of Joan Miro, the famous Spanish painter, was set up these days in the courtyard space of Teloglion Foundation of Arts in Thessaloniki.

More than 160 Greek and foreign movies will be presented in the 11th Documentary Festival of Thessaloniki that starts on March, 13th and will last for 10 days.

The Cinema Festival of Thessaloniki, a tradition and a prestige for the town, celebrates this year its 49th anniversary. The festival will include presentations of new and old movies, honores and competitions.

The 7th Strange Screen Festival takes place in Thessaloniki from October 14th to October 18th. Organized by the cultural team Anemicinema, it includes audiovisual productions of Greek and foreign artists and is held in the premises of the Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art.

The PhotoBiennale/20th International Photography Meeting is organized by the Thessaloniki Museum of Photography, funded by the Greek state in 1998.
