The busiest nightlife in Macedonia can be found in Thessaloniki. This town, second largest of Greece, is famous for its cheerful atmosphere, the delicious taverns, and the all-night clubs. The most popular region of Thessaloniki is the Beach Promenade, where many people stroll up and down even till late at night. Along the Beach Promenade and in Aristotle Square are the busiest bars and taverns of Thessaloniki. In summer, there are bar-boats from the port that make a night tour at the port with a view to the lights of Thessaloniki.
Other busy summer spots in Macedonia are also the first peninsula of Halkidiki, Kavala and Paralia Katerinis. These regions have loud clubs for all-night dancing. A more peaceful alternative would be to try a long dinner at the seaside, enjoying local dishes and wine. There are such lovely taverns in every spot of Macedonia.
