Lefkada Weather

The weather of Lefkada is typical of the delightful Mediterranean climate. Winters are mild, but summers are warm and the sun dominates the sky most of the time.

In brief, the weather in Lefkada is sunny in high and shoulder seasons. Like in the rest of Greece, January is the coldest month and August is the hottest.

The best time to visit Lefkada is June to September. During summer the temperatures are increased and the waters have become warm enough to be pleasant for swimming and snorkeling. Also, the sun shines for around 12 hours and the daylight lasts about 15 hours. May and early October are preferable for excursions and activities, though, as the heat is not so intense.
