Sotiras village Thassos: Sotiras is located 23 km south west of Limenas, the capital of Thassos between Kalirachi and Prinos. The mountainous village is built at a high altitude of 380 metres, on the foothills of Mount Ypsarion, offering a wonderful view to the sea. Nowadays Sotiras counts on few inhabitants, ancient ruins, old, traditional houses, beautiful ancient churches and a superb fountain dating from 1888. The beautifully traditional aspect of the village makes it one of the most attractive and quiet villages of Thassos. Some cafes and rooms for rent are available, as well as an excellent tavern, located on the central square.
