Crete Heraklion and Santorini are connected via regular ferry crossings by Minoan Lines, Anek Lines, and SeaJets from mid-April to mid-October. This is one of the most popular ferry routes in Greece along with the route from Athens to Santorini. There is also a connection during the winter time two times per week by a regular ferry operated by Aegeon Pelagos of Anek Lines.
There usually are two ferry routes per day. Depending on whether you pick a conventional or a high-speed vessel, the journey can last from 2 to 6 hours.
Ferry ticket prices are between 79€ and 95.7€ and you can book them online in advance.
Keep in mind that only the port of Heraklion is regularly connected to Santorini. There is also a connection between the ports of Rethymnon and Sitia. You will have to take a bus to/from any other area in Crete.

Although there are no direct flights connecting Crete to Santorini, it is possible to fly from the airport of Heraklion or Chania to Santorini and vice versa with one stop at Athens International Airport.
