The little port of Agia Anna
Water Taxis in Naxos
Water taxis in Naxos are a unique, fun and quick way to get from one beach to another or to go on a day trip to the nearby islands of the Small Cyclades, which boast crystalline turquoise waters that are out of this world and a laid-back atmosphere untouched by mass tourism.
Such vessels start operating routes when the weather gets warm and the sea is relatively calm, usually around May. Schedules discontinue around late September when the weather conditions are no longer favorable.
► Agia Anna to Paros (Piso Livadi): Water taxis run by Kerras Cruises regularly depart for Agia Anna Beach, Iraklia and Koufonisi, as well as for the beautiful Piso Livadi resort in Paros. Boats run four days a week, and fares are fixed for each itinerary.
► Volakas to Koufonisia: In the southeastern part of the island, before Panermos Bay, there is a small port called Volakas, from which a water taxi departs for Koufonisia. Bear in mind that you should book your transfer in advance. You can call on the following number for further information: 0030 22850 71438.
