The island of Milos has an interesting gastronomic scene full of traditional taverns as well as a few fine-dining restaurants. Most of the eateries on the island have nice locations in relaxing spots that offer amazing views of the Aegean Sea.
The majority of restaurants in Milos are situated in tourist villages and beaches, like Plaka, Adamas, Pollonia and Paleochori. A few taverns are also found in less touristic places, like Trypiti and Emporios.
On the menus, you will mainly find Greek, modern Greek and Mediterranean cuisine dishes. Slow-cooked lamb, grilled or fried fish and seafood as well as the infamous Greek salad, tzatziki, and fava puree are some of the classic must-eat recipes.
