  • Where is the ferry port in Kythnos?

All ferries arrive at Merichas Port, which lies on the island’s western coast. It is located 7 km from the island's capital (Chora), 12 km from the unique Kolona Beach, and 5 km from the quaint Driopida.

  • How can I get from the port to the beaches?

Only the island's most populated villages, i.e. Merichas, Chora, Loutra, Dropida and Kanala, are connected via buses. However, bus schedules are not very frequent. Therefore, we advise travelers who want to explore Kythnos conveniently to rent a car. Car rental offices are found close to the port.
