Andros is the second largest island of the Cyclades, after Naxos, popular among tourists and Athenians. The island consists of many capes and coves which form countless gorgeous beaches with clean and colorful waters for all tastes, peaceful secluded coves embraced by the rocky cliffs and sandy well-organized beaches found close to Chora like the famous Nimporio and Chrisi Ammos.
Andros has many streams, gorges, and natural fountains, fertile valleys and agricultural areas. The island has a unique cultural appeal which is traced in the ancient sites of Paleopolis, the museums with the countless findings and the works of local artists.
