There is no airport on Amorgos island. The nearest airports are located in Naxos, Paros, Santorini and Mykonos.
The first two are national and only receive flights from Athens, while the latter two are international and receive several flights not only from the Greek mainland but from several other countries, too.
During summer, the number of flights increases in order to serve the millions of tourists who visit Greece for their vacation.
Ferry connections between these four Greek islands and Amorgos island are available throughout the year. Similarly to flights, ferry itineraries are more frequent in summer. Therefore, guests can fly to one of the aforementioned islands that host an airport and then take the ferry heading to one of the island's two ports.
Alternatively, visitors can reach the island of Amorgos by ferry from Athens. Many ferries to Amorgos depart from the port of Piraeus every day during the high season.
