Located in the area of Paleo Faliro, Flisvos Marina in Athens is the most modern yacht station along the Athens Riviera. The area has one of the most renowned seafront promenades for evening wandering and gazing at the sunset.
After its major renovation, Flisvos Marina covers an area of almost four 4 square kilometers, featuring eating and drinking establishments, support services for yachts, and several shops.
More specifically, its facilities include 9 yacht service offices, 12 restaurants and cafeterias, 5 shops, parking areas with dedicated areas for individuals with disabilities, an electric vehicle charging station, ATMs, an information desk, a baby changing room and restrooms.
The marina attracts numerous visitors, especially on the weekends.
The area surrounding the Marina is particularly family-friendly, with playgrounds for children and an amusement park. Several parks full of greenery and flowers are ideal for a stroll. Some of them are pet-friendly as well.
Keep in mind that even though Flisvos Marina is a seafront place, it attracts many people during the winter, especially around Christmas time, when a variety of special events take place.
Two museums are hosted within Flisvos Marina; the floating museum Neraida and the Averof Naval Museum, housed inside the Georgios Averof battleship.
In addition, several points of interest are located in the vicinity of the marina, including the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, the Planetarium and Onassis Stegi.
This full-day cruise offers you the chance to explore the islands of Hydra, Poros, and Aegina, three highly-visited gems that are not but a couple of hours away from Athens.
