General information

Platanias beach: This long organized sandy beach is situated next to the beach of Kolios, the two bays forming the shape of a heart. Hotels and organized beach facilities are available here. On the beach is the little church of Agios Taxiarchis where a traditional fair is organised on the 26 of June.

    Beautiful beach

    Beautiful beach, beautiful clear blue sea which is shallow and warm. Beach restaurant a little pricey, but very handy for lazy people as they will serve you on the beach. For good value but less luxurious a little beach shop selling drinks ice cream sandwiches and snacks. We have been in september, staying at the princess resort and it's great to walk from our room along the path to the beach Can't wait to return after lockdown and we can travel abroad. Second only to koukanaris which had got very noisy with very loud music playing.
