One of the typical and most charming characteristics of Aegina is the horse-drawn carriage. This lovely, traditional means of transport has been maintained today mostly for tourist reasons and usually operates from spring to autumn. Most horse-drawn carriages are found on the waterfront of Aegina Town.
Their drivers take you all around the town and the suburbs, while they usually take on the role of a guide and point out to the visitors the most important sights, churches, mansions and generally the highlights of the town. The price for this tour is not fixed and is bargained with the driver.
