Gentilini Winery & Vineyards is a family-owned and family-run boutique winery in southwest Kefalonia. Founded in 1984 by Spiro Kosmetatos, Gentilini now offers ten wine varieties, all growing in their ten-acre sustainable vineyard farm, split into three categories: Notes, Expressions of Robola, and Distinctive Reds. Mostly famous for its Robola white wine and the Mavrodaphne of Kefalonia dry red wine, each bottle accentuates the distinct Kefalonian flavors and aromas found in the island’s climate!

The winery has received high praise through the years, including notable awards such as the 3rd place in the 50 Great Greek Wines Awards of 2022 for Iri’s Vineyard Mavrodaphne 2021.

Gentilini is available for guided vineyard and cellar tours, as well as various tastings in its spacious garden, paired with a touch of olive oil, locally-sourced cheese, cherry tomatoes and freshly-baked bread! The staff may also serve you light snacks to go along with your wine, though you may always purchase your bottle of preference from Gentilini’s shop! Plus, it is recommended that you make a reservation prior to visiting the vineyards.
Gentilini Winery & Vineyards is open from 11:00 to 20:30 in May through September and from 11:00 to 18:30 in the month of October.
