August 15th
Every year, on August 15th, Parga celebrates with a big festival in honor of the Holy Virgin. Music, food, and fireworks in Panagia islet, right opposite the town of Parga.

Cultural events

Kanaria Festival
The Kanaria Festival is celebrated on August 14th to commemorate the return of the residents from Corfu, where they had migrated in the 19th century, after the sale of their town to the Turks. People arrive with the small boats on the small island where there is a nice feast with traditional music and food.
