There is a daily ferry to Chios from Piraeus port, the main port of Athens. This ferry to Chios takes about 7 hours and usually continues to Lesvos. In summer, there is also a ferry to Chios from Kavala.
Note that Chios has 2 ports: Chios town and Mesta. The small port of Mesta in Chios has ferry connection with Lavrio port in Athens and Psara island.
