Location: Oia

Standing side by side on the picturesque caldera cliffside & overlooking the Aegean Sea, the blue-domed churches of Oia are easy to spot & they have been captured countless times, as one of the most charming landmarks in Oia. They are probably the most photogenic churches in the Cyclades, adding an extra charm to the postcard-like landscape! They both have a traditional style of Cycladic architecture and can be approached on foot, passing through the narrow alleys of Oia:

- Anastasi Church: Anastasi Church was constructed in 1865 and is dedicated to the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. In addition to its signature blue cupola, you will instantly notice a distinctive pink bell tower.

- Agios Spyridon Church: Only 10 meters from Anastasi lies Agios Spyridon, which was built in 1867 and boasts a matching blue dome and blue bell tower. It was named after Saint Spyridon. The closer you get, the better caldera views you are offered!
