Location: Chora

Archontiko Eleni (Eleni Mansion) is a 19th Century neoclassical building that adorns the entrance to the market of Chora and combines the neoclassical nobility and the traditional hospitality of the Greek islands with the most modern hotel equipment, offering visitors a convenient and pleasant stay. It was built at the end of the 19th century by Alexandros Empirikos and it was intended as his residence. At first, it was changed into a hospital; later on, it housed various services, while during the last years it housed the High School of Andros. Now the building has been renovated with good taste by Eleni and Giannis Koutsoukos. The rooms are all air-conditioned, with central heating, TV, mini bar, safe, telephone, shower, and hairdryer. They are all furnished tastefully, with a perfect arrangement and a harmonious combination of colors. Archontiko Eleni is a first-class hotel open all year long, and constitutes a model of neoclassical architecture and modern functionalism for the island.
