Chania Sougia beach

General information

The beach of Sougia in southern Chania can be found between the Paleochora and Agia Roumeli villages. This magnificent pebbly seashore is one of the most visited beaches in Chania, mostly attributed to its multicolored stones and the sense of peace and quiet it provides! Plus, its rocky seabed creates interesting reflections along the water surface!

Sougia Beach is a partly organized destination with sunbeds and umbrellas for rent, although there are a few non-organized spots for everyone. The shore also features an array of snack bars nearby, where one can enjoy a refreshment or a quick bite at any time! Also, there is a naturist area along the easternmost part of the beach!
