Marathi Chania: Marathi is a small cove about 14 km east of Chania Town. This cove has crystal water and is protected by strong winds. Marathi is an organized beach particularly popular among the locals. Its shallow water is ideal for families and kids. Along the beach, you will find nice taverns that serve fresh fish and some hotels. The small port offers shelter for fishing and excursions boats.
