It mostly receives flights from big Greek cities, but also a few international flights depending on the season.
Since 1967, it has been welcoming travelers from all over the globe, now featuring a bold burgundy color all over its concourse.

Flights

Chania is connected with big cities of Greece and a few European cities by charter and commercial flights. Ryanair, Sky Express, and Aegean Airlines are the three companies handling domestic flights to Athens (ATH) and Thessaloniki (SKG), along with flights to the airport of the neighboring Paphos (PFO). Discover the domestic and international airlines that fly to Chania, including both budget options and higher-class companies.
The airport is also a host to some private jets, various charter flights, small aircraft, and the occasional helicopter flight from Greece or abroad!
The nearby Heraklion Airport and Rethymnon Airport are within a few hours from Chania, though there are no direct flight connections between these airports. Chania, Rethymnon, and Heraklion are only connected by land or sea.
